Abstract

Before medical treatment there is preventative medicine; beyond treatment there isenhancement. This means that health, namely that state which, as Gadamer would say, is “in itselfnatural” is no longer suffi cient, it is necessary to go “beyond”. But in which direction? The paper traies to givean answer to these questions.
