KANT’S PHENOMENOLOGICAL TRANSITION: IS THERE AN ANSWER TO THE QUESTION “WHAT IS MAN”?
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores Kant’s [Immanuel Kant] examination of human nature, especially through the central question posed in his Logic: „What is man?“ The analysis aims to address why some scholars argue that Kant’s approach does not fully answer this question. Through examining Kant’s views on time, imagination, memory, and moral potential, as well as his insights into human nature’s „darker“ aspects, the paper suggests an alternative, phenomenological approach to these issues. The contrast between Kant’s theoretical constructs and practical human analysis opens a space for addressing challenges in his philosophy with phenomenological and hermeneutical methods.
