ETHICAL BOUNDARIES OF BIOETHICS

Abstract

The author thematizes several basic historical and systematical questions on philosophicaland scientifi c founding of bioethics as a relatively new and chalenging discipline, consideringits theoretical and research framework. Bioethics is still in the process of searching forits own subject, and a dominate paradigm of its theoretical and practical undertaking, and alsofor appropriate theoretical and practical method. The author explores how the thematization of anethical core of bioethics must involve the questions about the facts and reasons of birth of bioethics,about the problem of philosophical and ethical defi nition of bioethics, about the philosophicaland axiological grounds of bioethics, as much as the problem of the relationship between thephilosophical ethics and bioethics.
