TRANSDISCIPLINARITY: HEURISTICS OR ORIENTATIONAL HELP?

Abstract

This paper presents given key problems with transdisciplinary research. The shortsketch ends with a concrete terminological defi nition. It is also pointed up that there is an urgentnecessity for more research on the topic of transdisciplinarity. Finally, based on the analysis oftransdisciplinary research and the research on transcultural phenomenon the proof is given thatin the perspective of theory of science there is no way to transform transdisciplinary approachesinto the fi eld of transcultural research.
